GERMANY - BUNDESLIGA

HANNOVER v HAMBURG

This evening from 19:30, Hannover will play against Hamburg in round number three of the Bundesliga, in a game that has a definite favorite.
Hannover debuted well in the new season with an unexpected victory in front of Schalke (2-1), and then came by point from Mainz (0-0). The Club's European ambitions seem to have coverage, the game provided was  very good in these games. Even though many changes took place in the summer, newcomers Joselu and Kiyotake have integrated very well in attack and defense is performing much better than last season. The hosts are favourites to win, having a moral advantage because they have never lost at home in front of Hamburg for seven years. Tayfun Korkut said he was very happy with the squad of players at the press conference, but has a few absences today, Miller, Hoffmann, Prib and Stindl being injured.
Hamburg avoided relegation in the play-off last year, and hopes were high for the new season, because they he made notable transfer in the summer break. They started the championship disastrously with a single point made in front of two newly-promoted FC Cologne and Paderborn. In the last round, they lost shameful at home against Paderborn (0-3), which has brought a lot of criticism on players. Fans expecting a much better performance today, but there are preconditions for a new disappointment. Coach Mirko Slomka called on the fighting spirit, trying to motivate players...important missings for today : Rajkovic, Beister, Ilicevic, Kacar. Rafael van der vaart is facing a race against time to be fit for Hamburg’s must win game on Sunday. Marcel Jansen is injured so Matthias Ostrzolek will fill in at left back. Lewis Holtby, Julian Green and Nicolai Muller could all make their debuts for Hamburg after signing late in the transfer window.
Probable line-ups
Hannover: Zieler; Sakai, Marcelo, Schulz, Pander; Schmeidebach, Andreasen; Bittencourt, Kiyotake, Albornoz; Joselu

Hamburg: Adler; Diekmeier, Djourou, Cleber, Ostrzolek; Behrami, Arslan; Ilicevic, Holtby, Green; Lasogga
Hannover have started the season brightly taking four points from their opening two games. They are a more solid outfit this year and will look to take advantage of the turmoil at Hamburg. Hamburg manager Mirko Slomka is under a huge amount of pressure already this season. The former Bundesliga giants have been in decline for a number of years and no side really fears them any more. Hannover will want to pile the pressure on the struggling side whilst Slomka will hope that new signings Holtby and Green can revive their fortunes. I expect Hannover to win today and maybe Joselu to score...

FRANCE - LIGUE 1

LILLE v NANTES

The first match of the day from Ligue 1 will start at 15: 00 and will put Lille in front of Nantes, two teams with a good start in this season. The match takes place at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy and counts for stage number five.
Lille is one of three teams who up to now have not been defeated in the Championship. LOSC has made a good start of season, despite the fact that it has been eliminated from the Champions League. The hosts will play in Europa League, so the program this autumn will be a pretty loaded. The team coached by Rene Girard has obtained a very important draw in the previous round on Monaco's pitch. Lille has accumulated eight points and stand on the third step of the podium in the Ligue 1. Lille could hand a debut to deadline day signing Michael Frey from Young Boys in Ligue 1’s first Sunday game. LOSC will be without captain Marko Basa who injured his hamstring against Lorient, but the Montenegrin is already back in light training and should be match-fit by the club’s EL game next Thursday. There are no other injury worries for them.
Nantes beat Montpellier in the previous round's score on away with the score of 1-0. By the way, both victories of the Canaries this season have been successful with the same score. The guest team lost just the duel with Monaco and presented so far very well, especially in defence. In fact all four parties of Nantes ended with under 2.5 goals. Michel Der Zakarian and his band has secured only a victory in the journeys made this year in Ligue 1.
Nantes are holding out for the fitness of Venezuelan rock Oswaldo Vizcarrondo, who hyper-extended his elbow in training. Michel Der Zakarian is optimistic about his fitness, describing him as ’50/50′. Rémy Riou, returning from a shoulder injury, may not regain his place from Maxime Dupé in the Nantes goal, but there are no more injury worries for Les Canaris.

Probable line-ups :

Lille (4-3-1-2): Enyeama - Souare, Rozehnal, Kjaer, Corchia - Balmont, Mavuba, Gueye - Lopes - Roux, Origi

Nantes (4-2-3-1): Dupe - Veigneau, Vizcarrondo, Djilobodji, Cissokho - Veretout, Hansen - Audel, Bedoya, Shechter – Aristeguieta

Hoping to build on an undefeated start to the season, the Lille faithful will be expecting another three points as they aim to finish in the top three for the second year in succession.
Nantes, however, will be no pushovers, and their defensive stability means that LOSC will certainly have to work hard if they intend to get the win. A cagey affair is to be expected and Lille have to be creative if they intend to get anything from the game. Ten previous meetings have ended with under 2.5 goals. Nantes has not defeated the LOSC in May of 2004.
  • Lille to win & under 2.5 goals - 3.00
  • Roux to score - 3.25

GUINGAMP v BORDEAUX

Guingamp played very poorly in this season debut, taking place 18 at the moment with three points. The home team was able to defeat only Lens with the score of 1-0, while in the other three parties hasn't even scored a goal. SAES has been humiliated in the previous round by Lorient, and now is rated likely weak enough to make a great result against Bordeaux. It's pretty clear that the Guingamp is one of the relegation candidates, after in the previous season they remained difficult in Ligue 1, too. Guingamp will be without deadline day departure of Malian striker Mustapha Yatabare, who left for Turkish side Trabzonspor. In comes his brother Sambou, the ex-Olympiacos holding midfielder, who can be expected to start this weekend. EAG”s Danish right-back Lars Jacobsen is still out through a knee injury, but Maxime Baca is back to full fitness following a hamstring twinge. There are no other injury worries.
Bordeaux has had a great start instead of the Championship, being leader of the Championship with ten points. The Girondins had a series of three consecutive winning matches, but in the last round has secured only a draw in the confrontation with Bastia. Currently the band's Willy Sagnol has one of the best offense in France, scoring at least one goal in each match. Bordeaux was defeated only in one of the previous eight movements performed in Ligue 1. Yatabare’s countryman Cheick Diabate should start up front for the opponents, Bordeaux, however. The FCGB attacker returns from a suspension that he received for a straight red in a 3-1 win at Nice. Emiliano Sala is expected to drop out of the side. Diego Contento is another injury following surgery on his groin, which will mean he will be out for another 5/6 months. Diego Rolan is likely to start despite picking up a knock against Bastia. These are Bordeaux’s only injury concerned.

Probable line-ups

Guingamp (4-4-2) : Samassa - Sorbon, Kerbrat, Lemaitre, Baca - Mathis, Yatabare, Marveaux, Schwartz, Beauvue; Douniama.

Bordeaux (4-3-3) : Carrasso - Mariano, Pallois, Sane, Poundje - Sertic, Khazri; Faubert - Maurice-Belay, Rolan, Diabate.

Girondins won the last seven meetings. Guingamp was not enforced against Bordeaux since spring of 2002. I expect Bordeaux to win and maybe Maurice-Belay to score..
  • Bordeaux(DNB) - 1.83
  • Maurice-Belay to score - 7.50

ENGLAND - PREMIER LEAGUE

MAN UTD QPR

The only match of the day on Sunday 14 august 2014 in the Premier League will be held this evening from 18: 00 between Manchester United and QPR in the 4th round. QPR seems perfect opponent for "devils" in their attempt to achieve first success in this season in Louis Van Gaal's mandate. The last duels between the two took place two seasons ago because QPR just promoted, and United were required every time the 2 goals difference.
Manchester United started the new season very bad, and the catastrophic draw in the previous stage on Burnley land strengthen more this claim. Louis Van Gaal uses system 3-5-2, totally atypical for this team as United raced for years in the classic 4-4-2. The Club have realized the most expensive transfer period in the history of the Premier League, while arrivals from the last day of the transfer window Blind and Falcao did a bill that totaled nearly 200 million euros! The system imposed by Van Gaal is increasingly criticized in the press and English remains to be seen if it will continue on the same line. Shaw, Rojo, Falcao and Blind have all chances to debut on this occasion, while Phil Jones will miss a month because of injury, as well as Smalling, Carick, Fellaini, Young or Lingard.
QPR won the first match this season, 1-0 at home against Sunderland and is currently in 12th place in the standings with 4 points. Manager Harry Redknapp has managed since two major transfers on the last day of transfer window, Sandro and Niko Kranjcar, both can make their debuts as starters at Old Traford. It will be interesting to follow Rio Ferdinand as the opponent of the "devils" in the stadium where he made history and won all the trophies in european football. Faurlin will miss this game because of injury, while Joey Barton is uncertain.

Probable line-ups

Man Utd(3-5-2) : De Gea- Evans, Blind, Rojo- Valencia, Fletcher, Herrera, Di Maria, Shaw- Falcao, Rooney

QPR(4-4-2) : Green- Isla, Caulker, Ferdinand, Hill- Kranjcar, Sandro, Barton, Fer- Hoilett, Austin

I think it's time for Man Utd to make a big game this season, they made good transfers this season and the results has to appear, I expect a score like 2-1, 3-0...
  • Man Utd to win & over 2.5 goals - 1.80

ITALY - SERIE A

CAGLIARI v ATALANTA
  • Cagliari to win - 2.25
FIORENTINA v GENOA
  • over 2.5 goals - 1.85
INTER MILANO v SASSUOLO
  • Inter to win & over 2.5 goals - 2.10
PARMA v AC MILA

The last match of the day in Serie A will be played at 21.45 between Parma and my favourite team, Milan. The match hosted by the Stadio Ennio Tardini in Parma is more interesting than the case of a confrontation between two traditional rivals.
Parma comes after an extraordinary season, when they reached an Europa League spot. They debuted in the new Championship with a surprising defeat at Cesena (0-1) and tries to give back today. The Club has progressed a lot since the arrival of coach Donadoni, who does not announced big changes for this game, stating that he has great confidence in his players. Will however be forced Cassano, who is not yet totally 100%. Parma is famous for their home ground force, they lost only three matches at home last year. In the previous season, they won all points against Milan, which brings them a morale advantageWill be missing because of injury Pozzi and Biabiany.
Milan appears to be a much stronger team than in previous years, succeeding inspired transfers which greatly raised the level of play. New coach Filippo Inzaghi proved to be an inspired choice, he started the season with a victory in the derby against Lazio in the first round (3-1). The game provided was brilliant and remains to be seen whether rossonero can confirm today. It seems that we won't see many changes in the start, although in the meantime the consignment was reinforced with Bonaventura, van Ginkel and Torres. The Spanish striker is  announced starter, but it is hard to believe that he can impress in the first game. The board have heralded as objective a Champions League place and the players' confidence grew after the dispute with Lazio. AC Milan will have to do without their midfielder Riccardo Montolivo in Sunday’s clash, while Shaarawy is uncertain.

Probable line-ups

Parma(4-3-3) : Mirante – Cassani, Paletta, Lucarelli, Gobbi – Lodi, Acquah, Jorquera – Palladino, Belfodil, Cassano

Milan(4-3-3) : Diego Lopez – Abate, Alex, Bonera, de Sciglio – Poli, de Jong, Muntari – Honda, Menez, Torres

It will be tough for Parma to win, mostly because the form shown in the first stage is pretty weak. If you had big problems against newly-promoted Cesena, clearly can be easily defeated by Milan. Today's guests showed great zest for the game against Lazio, and that result motivates to maximum. Have been strengthened in all compartments and aspirations towards a Champions League place seem justified. Are lethal offensively, where Honda, Torres and Menez can always have fun with the hosts. Parma has not scored at Cesena, which is very worrying, and forcing Cassano will not give the expected results...
