MARTINGALE

Martingale is probably the best known existing gambling and betting system. It is based on raising your stake after every lost bet until the outcome you desire finally takes place. Firstly used in the casinos at roulette, martingale implied doubling your stake when betting on red/black and losing. When you finally won the bet, the total winnings would have exceeded your total losses.

In order for martingale to be successful, two crucial and impossible events must take place: infinite bankroll and no bookmaker betting limits. Without these factors, martingale will lead you to bankruptcy.

It`s a dangerous betting system, and even if you apply a derivate with low investment / low stakes progression, you could still head downhill. But, of course, in the end it`s up to each individual to decide if this system could work for him.

I looked after teams, which hasn't made draw till now in their league. I will try a Martingale system on this blog betting on draws. The stakes will be : 1,2,4,8,16,32,64 units...       France - Ligue 2 is a league, where draw occurence is high : after 8 rounds a single team didn't make a draw : TOURS. I hope they will make a draw in the next 10 games : Sochaux(H), Brest(A), Nimes(H), Chateauroux(A), Laval(A), Auxerre(H), Niort(A), GA Ajaccio(H), Clermont (A), Le Havre (H)...

HCM BAIA MARE v METZ

For both teams this match is a must-win situation : the winner will qualify to the main group of the Champions League !

The team prepared by Costica Buceschi has a very good run in the National Championship, but in the Champions League suffer quite a lot. The Board had prepared for this complicated season, managed to transfer two big players who won the World Cup : Barbara Arenhart and Alexandra Nascimento. Besides the two, other great players arrived in summer period, but unfortunately they were not up to expectations. There are not excellent physically and have a very big problem in the starts of the matches, because they are warming up very slow, this is one of the cause why HCM was often in the situation to run after result. Team coach has to solve several problems, because in the last match of the group, with Lublin, Baia Mare suffered greatly. They got lucky with parades of Paula Ungureanu, otherwise the outcome of the game was quite another.  Geiger, Abbingh, Vartic and Oltean are doubtful for this game...

Metz, champion in the last two stages, slowly becomes a strong team in France and has big chances to defend the trophy. The lack of experience of the team has seen in the UCL, where they obtained only 3 points, although in the last two games played at home missed dramaticcaly the wins ! For Metz, the only goal of this match is winning, no mather what...

The only problem for coach Jeremy Roussel is suspension of serbian Kristina Liscevic, who received a red card for a rough foul in the last match against Larvik. Her replacement will not be easy, but Claudine Mendy and Ana Gros will handle it. In the squad are very young players, who will play in the near future in the national team for sure. The team suffers a bit defensively, but they are playing dangerous in attack.

Until now, the two teams have met only once, about a month ago. Then HCM lost on road by 10 goals difference, although after the first half the game was pretty balanced.

Although HCM is the favorite in this match, I don't think the difference between the two teams will be so high, considering the roster problems, that home team has, probably the handicap on Metz +3.5 goals - 2.05 has value.  | ✓

However, I live in Romania and I know the atmosphere created here around these big matches, so I expect a warm and fantastic support of the fans and I'm sure it will be tough for Metz to play in Baia Mare. For those who like betting on bigger odds, I like Baia Mare to win by 1-3 goals 3.60  | ✖
