HANDBALL - EUROPEAN WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP

http://analysedtips.blogspot.ro/2014/12/handball-european-womens-championship.html

SERBIA v FRANCE

In the opening matches : Serbia lost against Montenegro (22-19), while France defeated Slovakia (21-18). While Serbia's defeat was not a surprise, the France would have had to win more easily. They had an odd only 1.04 for an eventual victory, but they made a very poor first half in which they scored just seven goals. After the first 30 minutes the score was 9-7 for Slovakia. Then we saw a normal comeback in the second half and finally France won normally. Turning to this evening's match, the French team starts with the first chance, but after their last performance two days ago I think maybe we can see a little surprise here :
  • Serbia +1.5 - 1.85

CROATIA v GERMANY

Match between Croatia and Germany will be led by Romanian referees and will be played in the City Sports Hall in Varazdin. Thus Croatia has its own fans support advantage that they hadn't in the first game of the group when they lost to Sweden. Pushed from the back by their own supporters I expect that this time the home team will win , especially because Germany has not even started the tour well, surprisingly defeated by Netherlands.
  • Croatia to win - 1.55

SLOVAKIA v MONTENEGRO

Montenegro has an odd only 1.04 for a logical victory. Despite they are the champions of last edition and probably will be winner at the end of the 60 minutes, I don't think they will have a very easy task. They won two days ago against Serbia 22-19 repeating the performance in the last World Cup and in the qualification campaign for the European Championship. More specifically, all their victories were within three goals difference. The only exceptions are the parties with Dominican Republic and DR Congo but they are not relevant because those opponents are far too weak. On the other side, Slovakia played much better than anybody expected against France, so they should be taken seriously. I think the handicap on the underdog can be the good choice :
  • Slovakia +7.5 - 1.46
  • Slovakia +6.5 - 1.65
  • Slovakia +5.5 - 1.85
  • Slovakia +4.5 - 2.20
